Known as the Miracle in the Desert, Sunshine Acres Children's Home began more than 60 years ago by Reverend Jim and Vera Dingman, who carried a desire to give their lives to caring for children who are hurting and a faith that God would provide all they needed. Today, Sunshine Acres still is a place of hope for children. No child is ever turned away for financial reasons. By shopping or donating your goods and time to our Thrift Stores and Boutique, you play an active role in sustaining our Miracle in the Desert!
